MMV is a not-for-profit public-private partnership whose mission is to reduce the burden of malaria in disease-endemic countries by discovering, developing and facilitating delivery of new, effective and affordable antimalarial drugs. MMV’s vision is a world in which these innovative medicines will cure and protect the vulnerable and under-served populations at risk of malaria, and help to ultimately eradicate this terrible disease.

Global Network

Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (Global Network) is an advocacy and resource mobilization initiative of the Sabin Vaccine Institute. The Global Network works with international partners at the highest levels of government, business, and society to break down the logistical and financial barriers to delivering existing NTD treatments to the communities that need them most.

Malaria Consortium

Malaria Consortium is one of the world’s leading non-profit organisations specialising in the comprehensive control of malaria and other communicable diseases – particularly those affecting children under five.

Malaria Consortium works in Africa and Southeast Asia with communities, government and non-government agencies, academic institutions, and local and international organisations, to ensure good evidence supports delivery of effective services. A primary focus for the organisation is to strengthen the interface between research and implementation, practice and policy and health systems and disease control.

PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative

The PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative (MVI) is a program of the international non-profit organization PATH. MVI was established in 1999 through an initial grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Mission: To accelerate the development of malaria vaccines and catalyze timely access in endemic countries.
Vision: A world free from malaria.

MVI is pursuing a range of vaccine development approaches with an expanding circle of industry, academic, and government partners. MVI maintain a diverse portfolio of projects, including preclinical feasibility studies, translational projects, and one advanced clinical project.

ACT Consortium

The ACT Consortium is an international research collaboration formed in November 2007 to answer key questions on malaria drug delivery in Africa and Asia.

Our goal is to develop and evaluate delivery mechanisms to improve ACT access, targeting, safety and quality.
The ACT Consortium is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and has partners throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. It is coordinated through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
